After eight years and 18 volumes, Sai Yukinowill end The Story of Saiunkoku (Saiunkoku Monogatari) light novel series on Thursday. In this fantasy set in Saiunkoku (an empire inspired by ancient China), a poor yet noble family’s daughter named Shuurei rises through the ranks of the imperial palace.

Rurouni Kenshin Live-Action Film

A year ago rumors swirled that the popular manga, Rurouni Kenshin, would be getting a live-action film and that Takeru Sato (known for his role as Koyuki in the live-action adaption of BECK) would play Kenshin. Now it’s been confirmed that the film, starring Sato, will be released sometime in 2012.

Summer Anime List 2011

Hellloooo! Sorry for updating rather sporadically nowadays. I’m no longer a student yet I can’t keep up with the latest anime and manga. Mainly because I’m slowly slipping away those fandoms (blame JE lol). Anyway, I can’t let that happen since I’m eyeing some upcoming anime and there’s still tons of manga I’d love to read.
