Love Pistols OVA 2 has been Postponed

It has been announced that Sex Pistols OVA2 due for 25th Jun 2010 release will be postponed till 10th Dec 2010, the official site stated: “In order to offer you better a quality product, we have to postpone the release date.”

This is a sad news. I really want to watch the next ova and I was excited knowing it will be released this June. So just imagined how I felt when I learned its postponement.. :(

On a brighter side, we must expect a better quality in terms of animation so I should just be happy knowing that. tee hee ^^

Off to read its manga.. :D

Usui Takumi’s Older Brother

A kind member on our forum shared a pic of Usui’s onii-san.

I still don’t have much information about him at the moment other than being an older brother. I’m assuming here that since he probably grew up with their original family, he is the cold and stoic kind of character. He’s personality is stiff opposed to Usui’s laid-back attitude. Anyway, let’s all look forward to him.. ^_^

5 Centimeters per Second Movie to have a Manga Adaptation

According to the July issue of Kodansha’s Monthly Afternoon magazine, the anime film 5 Centimeters per Second by Makoto Shinkai will be adapted into manga. The manga creator Yukiko Seike will launch the film’s manga counterpart. This will be the 3rd movie of Shinkai that will have a manga adaptation.

Very late News about Togainu no Chi

I was browsing the site of The Yaoi Review when I encountered this. Togainu no Chi is originally a BL game which will have an anime series in the future. It also has a manga if I’m not mistaken. It seems to have a lot of blood and action in it and apparently not the lovey-dovey shounen ai. ^_^

Short OVA and Stage Play of Hakuoki Announced

According to Amazon Japan, two short OVA of Hakuouki were announced to be distributed to those who purchased all the six volumes of the DVD. A fandisc game “Hakuoki Zuisouroku (official website)” and an official parody “Hakuoki SSL (a high school parody)” will be animated as about 10 min long movie.

Nikkan Sports reported a stage play of Hakuoki. Saotome Taichi (official blog) will play Hijikata. The play will be shown this October.

Miwa Ueda (Peach Girl), Shūichi Shigeno (Initial D), Daisuke Terasawa (Mister Ajikko), Nobuyuki Fukumoto (Akagi), Yukari Fukumoto, Akemi Matsunae (Renai Naika 25 Ji) and George Morikawa (Hajime no Ippo) formed the seven-member judging committee. Meitantei Yumemizu Kiyoshirō Jiken Note, Q.E.D., Fairy Tail, Kiyoku Yawaku, Ah My Goddess, and Ashita no Joe’s Tetsuya Chiba won last year’s awards.

Unaired episode of Kimi ni Todoke

Quoted from MAL:

According to bk1 online bookstore, an extra DVD will be bundled with Kimi ni Todoke manga vol.11 to be released on June 11th. The DVD will include a recap episode, an unaired episode and a video of Kimi ni Todoke live event. The total length of the three will be about 30min.
