Nana Mizuki: 1st seiyuu with a #1 CD single on Oricon’s weekly chart
Quoted from ANN:
29-year-old Nana Mizuki has become the first seiyū (character voice) with a #1 CD single on Oricon’s weekly singles chart in Japan. Mizuki’s 21st single, “Phantom Minds,” sold 54,000 copies during its first week of release this past week. No other seiyū has ranked that high since Oricon began posting its charts in January of 1968. “Phantom Minds” is the theme song for the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha The MOVIE 1st anime, in which Mizuki reprises the character Fate Testarossa. This film remake of the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha television anime will open in Japan on January 23.
Mizuki’s Ultimate Diamond did reach #1 last June — another record for a seiyū — but on Oricon’s weekly album chart. With “Phantom Minds’” #1 ranking, Mizuki beat her own previous record high of #2, which she first earned with her “Eternal Blaze” song in 2005. Her “Shinai” song also debuted at #2 on the weekly singles chart with 42,630 copies last January, and 2008′s “Trickster” single similarly reached #2 with a personal high of 57,201 copies. Last month, Mizuki debuted in Kōhaku Uta Gassen (Red and White Song Battle), the New Year’s Eve singing contest that is Japan’s most viewed music television program.
Before Mizuki, Megumi Hayashibara held the record for the highest ranking CD single by a seiyū with her #3 song, “Northern Lights,” in 2002. The other seiyū who have reached #3 are Maaya Sakamoto (2008′s “Triangler”) and Aya Hirano (2009′s “Super Driver”).
yay.!!! i’m so happy for nana mizuku..she deserves it..

In this manga which runs in Ichijinsha’s Comic Yuri Hime S magazine, four fun-loving schoolgirls take over the former room of a tea ceremony club for their own “Gorakubu” (amusement club).

Kazehaya and his Rival
This isn’t something new to me. Months ago, Maakusutipen-san from Japinoy has posted something about the rival of Kazehaya to Sawako. I’ve also read something about him in wikipedia.
Warning! Spoiler Ahead:
You’re reading this because you decided to spoil yourself.
So this guy I’m talking about is Kento Miura. He is the classmate of Sawako and Kazehaya on their first year. Kento is somewhat close to Sawako which of course, makes Kazehaya jealous. That’s as far as I know. ^^”
Upon knowing this, kento made me curious about his looks. Finally, someone posted the pic on Kimi ni Todoke community in LJ.

He looks cute, right???? haha. He also seems to be a funny guy. I hope the scanlations will go faster so that we will be able to read this part and see Kazehaya’s reaction. ^_^
