New TokiMemo OVA

Konami has scheduled the release of a 30 minute Tokimeki Memorial 4: Hajimari no Finder (The First Finder) OVA for December 3. The OVA will be available on DVD or BD as part of a collector’s edition release of the Tokimeki Memorial 4 PSP romance simulation game and as an individual DVD retailing

weeeee.. I’d love to see this. TokiMemo ~only love~ is okay for me though harem is not my type.. ^^

Bandai Namco Games has announced that Bandai Visual will produce a CG anime companion to the upcoming .hack//Link PSP game. The new anime is described as “not a TV series,” suggesting that it may be a production similar to last year’s full CG .Hack//G.U. Trilogy which had limited theatrical screenings before being released on DVD.

Nodame Cantabile manga to end on October

Tomoko Ninomiya will end Nodame Cantabile manga on the next issue of Kiss magazine to be released in October 10.

Launching of Kaguya Mag

Shinshokan Publishing has launched a new manga magazine called Kaguya for “otome-kei” and “team danshi” stories on Friday. According to Comic Natalie, otome-kei stories feature many but unique beautiful male characters, while team danshi stories feature a large cast of male characters.

Interesting.!!! I want to read the stories.. :D

Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 3

The last television anime of Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 3 was announced by KOEI on their 15th anniversary. The picture is from Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 3: Kurenai no Tsuki television special in 2007. However, it was not yet stated whether this will be a series or a special.

Kogoro Mouri’s V.A to Retire

This is a sad news for the fans of DC particularly for those who loves the character of detective Mouri.

Veteran voice actor Akira Kamiya, who has played Mouri Kogoro in the Detective Conan anime franchise since it started in 1996, has apologetically announced that unspecified personal reasons have forced him to leave the show. Kamiya made the announcement and apologized for his sudden, unexpected announcement to fans, Detective Conan creator Gosho Aoyama, and the anime staff & cast on his blog.

Gekijouban Yu-Gi-Oh!

The Gekijouban Yu-Gi-Oh! ~Cho-Yugo! Jiku o Koeta Kizuna~ movie will have Yuugi Mutou, Judai Yuki, and Yusei Fudo – the protagonists of the three Yu-Gi-Oh! anime television series – against the new, original antagonist Paradox.
However, the three protagonist will have their first team up in the short Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Special anime movie that will screen this fall as part of this year’s Jump Super Anime Tour.

Saiyuki Ibun Manga Series

Saiyuki Ibun manga by the mangaka Minekura Kazuya will be launched in the 11th issue of Ichijinsha’s Zero Sum Ward magazine on Wednesday. The story is about how a man became the character Komyo. The storyline happened years before the main story.

Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle to End this September 30

Kodansha’s Weekly Shounen Magazine announced that CLAMP will end the Tsubasa, RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE manga in the next issue on September 30. They have been making Tsubasa since 2003.

Aoi Bunko Anime to Premiere this Fall

Japanese publisher Shueisha has revealed the news that a 12 episode anime TV series titled Aoi Bungaku (Blue Book) will premiere on October 10 at 1:20am. The series will consist of adaptations of four modern classics of Japanese literature: Osamu Dazai’s No Longer Human (Ningen Shikkaku) & Run, Melos! (Hashire, Melos!), Natsume Soseki’s Kokoro, and Ryunosuke Akutagawa’s Hell Screen (Jigoku Hen).

Famous mangaka will also be part of this series.

Takeshi Obata (Death Note, Bakuman) will participate in the creation of the No Longer Human & Kokoro segments. Takeshi Konomi of Prince of Tennis will participate in Run, Melos! While Bleach manga creator Tite Kubo will participate in the segment of Hell Screen.

English Translation of Ruroken Manga by Viz Media

It was revealed by Viz that the volume 9 of Rurouni Kenshin manga will be included in the VizBig reissue. It includes an additional full color short story never previously available in English. The manga will go on sale March 16, 2010.
