The romance adventure game of Idea Factory will be having an anime. The story of the game is about a female protagonist and the historical Shinsengumi group in Kyoto during the 19th century. However, further informations hasn’t been released yet.

Kyaaaa..I’ll also be waiting for the release of this one. It looks interesting and I hope there’s a lot of action to offer. ^_^

After a year, I finally decided to continue watching this. Back on 2008, I was curious with this series and decided to watch it. It’s funny yet while I was still in the middle of episode 1, I decided to stop watching. From then on, I stayed away from yaoi. Remember my post about Only the Ring Finger Knows? It actually affected my decision on continuing this. Because I really wanted to watch an anime of OTRFK (sadly, I wasn’t able to find one since it wasn’t made into an anime yet), I diverted my attention to Junjou Romatica. It did not fail me. I actually finished the 2 season within 4 days. A record for me.. ^_^

It is smutty, indeed. There hasn’t been a single episode that nothing happened with either of the pairs. It is overflowing with love in every episode (okay, it’s ewww for non-yaoi fans). The pairs in Romantica, Egoist and Terrorist are all opposites. They are also funny and can be dramatic at times. My favorite couple among the three will be Nowaki and Hiro-san. Nowaki is <3! He is too sweet and lovable. Of course, Misaki and Usagi-san are also cute. I really wish there are more Egoist in the anime.

Studio Deen made a good job with the animation. The characters are good-looking. It is colorful. The story remained loyal to the manga. The opening and ending songs for both seasons suit the anime too.

Compared to the manga, this is wholesome. LOL. Just when you are comparing this to its manga counterpart. Anyway, all the heavy scenes in the manga had been toned down. If you’ve watched the anime and thought that it has heavy smuts, try scanning some pages of the manga then rewatch again. You’ll understand why I said it is wholesome.

This is not bad for my first yaoi anime. Tt won’t harm you if you’ll also try this.

Mere curiosity got me into reading this manga. The good thing is, it did not fail me. I immediately love the series.

It is a slow-paced love story. Okay, we know from the start, who likes who. The problem is how will they leave their friends zone. it really took a while before the feelings became mutual. The ending have the so-that-was-it feeling. I thought of a more sweet finale but I got a feel-good ending instead. That wasn’t bad, right?

Aside from romance, readers will also enjoy the funny moments of Akira and Takami. It is not your usual love story with the annoying lead and super beyond the reality circumstances. The couple  aren’t lovey-dovey yet they are sweet. Takami acts rough and boyish, a total opposite of Akira, but isn’t dumb.

The title won’t have capriccio on it if it’s not about music. It is because of the piano that they met. It is also the start of their dreams. i would like to hear the sound of their music. They keep on saying that Akira is good but I want to hear it myself. An anime of this might be good. ^_^

Take a break from those sappy love stories. Try reading this for a change.

There  are lots of vampire stories in the manga world. One example would be Midnight Secretary. Compared to other popular vampire stories, it is more inclined to reality (given the genre josei) as it deals with the coflicts and relationship between humans and vampires. No magical stuffs. No showing off of powers. No fight scenes. Just the struggle of a couple to defy the norm.

This is my second josei manga (the first one is Made in Heaven) and unlike my first, the story really got me. The story progressed well enough. The ending felt a bit rushed but it’s okay. The character’s reactions. are justifiable. No one went overboard. The lead girl is smart and workaholic although there are instances when i see some of her actions quite stupid. I don’t like the main guy at first. he is too possessive and bossy. Well, that’s explainable since he is known for his vampire pride.

Another thing that makes this different from the others is because this is reallyyyy smutty. If I’m not mistaken, there hadn’t been a single chapter without any smut on it. it is a bit understandable since the characters are mature enough to do it.

The drawing is not exceptional but at least messy. The tone implies the dark side or the secret of Kyouhei.

So there. if you are a fan of vampire stories and smut, you’ll surely like this. If you’re only after vampires and vice versa, then you might like to try this.

The volume 6 of “Umi Monogatari ~Anata ga Itekureta Koto~” DVD includes an extra episode. It will be released on March 26th, 2010. The short extra episodes “Marin no Kore Naani?” will also be released from the volume 2 to be released on November 22nd.

Tomoko Ninomiya, mangaka of Nodame Cantabile, confirmed on her blog that her manga will resume on Kodansha’s Kiss magazine on July 25. She also said that on July 7 she plans to draw new manga installments in the next three issues.

On the other hand, Ritz Kobayashi has resumed Saki on the 15th issue of Young Gangan’s magazine.

This past week is too tiring for me to handle.  With all those freakin quizzes, pre and post lab report sheets, lectures, readings, laboratory experiments, and acting all high-and-mighty professors, I thought I couldn’t survive all of them.. *sigh* Thanks to anime and manga especially the yaoi ones, I regained my energy and now back to business. *evil grin*

I pull an all-nighter last night to review for a supposedly quiz in our Micro Biology class and answer our pre-lab report sheet in Pharm. Chem. I didn’t even have a proper sleep so I’m praying so hard that there will be no classes (evil me..^_^). Thanks to the heavy rain, our classes are suspended. So early in the morning while researching for the answers in my pre-lab, I came across with this video.

I love how the maker of the vid made this video of Nowaki and Hiroki, my favorite pairing in Junjou Romantica. I just so love Nowaki. Moreover, the song entitled Together is really good.! I want to download the song but I don’t know where. If any of you knows, kindly inform me..^_^

Another reason to fangirl today is that Starry Heaven Scanlations is doing the scanlation of Hakushaku to Yousei manga. Yay.! Finally, a scanlating group for this manga. I just so love the anime and the characters and now I’m dying to read the manga.. Here’s the link to SHS: Hakushaku to Yousei
