Toradora Final Episode

Others said that the ending wasn’t satisfying. I say otherwise. ^_^

It’s better that they finished their high school first and reconcile to their families than their original plan to get married after two months. Besides, it’s not as if the couple didn’t meet in the end.

Finally, a couple.(They already a couple at ep 24..>_<)

The long speech doesn’t suit Minorin. But I still like what she said.

This scene really made me laugh..!! All of them brought out their cellphones at the same time. They really care for Taiga.

At last, they graduated. I’ll surely miss them.

The last scene is also cute. Taiga looks good on her new uniform.^___^

La Corda d’Oro ~second passo~ First Movement

After the long wait, it has been released last Thursday.! The subs was on Friday. *hugs the subbers*

The opening part was LOVE.! *fangirl squeal*

I miss the characters. I mean, the bishies..XP The second passo is a bit different from the season 2 in manga, but then, who cares? It’s still good anyway.. ^^

Hihara and Shimizu looks good on their new looks. (Hihara with long hair and Shimizu grew taller) Others haven’t changed much.

The new director was awesomely rude. XD Also, the other guy. (The red-haired guy)

He still looks cute..! ^_^

Shimizu’s becoming hot.. Yay.! Another bishie..

Len looks so cool with his violin. xD

Oh well, I’m not their fan but Tsuchiura and Yunoki are also cool..^__^

Now, here’s Kaji Aoi – Watashi no Ouji-sama..*kyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa*

Even at a young age, he is soooooooooooooooooooo adorable..!!

Not just good-looking, but also athletic. Soooooooper love this pic.! *hyperventilates*

Here’s Kaji’s close up look:

This picture got me so envious.

I wish I was at Hino’s place instead of her..*evil laugh*…

XDDD

Looking forward for the next ep. I hope the news that this has only has two episode isn’t true.

Clannad

When I started watching this, I kept asking myself, “Why should I keep watching this?” and “Why is this popular?”. Now that I finished watching it, I’ve asked myself, “Why did I put this on-hold if it has a beautiful story?”

One thing that I realized while watching is that, it isn’t your average harem story. Yes, this is harem in nature. What makes this not the usual one is that it deals more about the lessons of life like the value of family and friends, following your dreams and happiness, and believing yourself. It has some romance mostly on the latter part of the story. The story can also make you cry as you sympathize with the characters and laugh with their gags.

Another thing that surprised me is the characters. For most of the harem-genre series that I watched, I ended up disliking a character from the harem circle. In this series, I can’t help but sympathized with their issues. Annoying won’t be the correct word to describe them. Rather, they’re funny and cute. A very good point of the story is the maturity of each of them. You enjoy discovering their characters and how they changed for the better bit by bit throughout the series.

The animation is really good. What would you expect from a game-based anime. From the sceneries down to the characters’ clothes, all were done beautifully. As for the music, I couldn’t say much about the opening song but I think the  ending song is cute and it pertains to the favorite song of one of the main lead. The insert songs are also good for their respective scenes.

Sunrise: Keanu Reeves’ Enthusiasm Clinched Cowboy Bebop Deal

Kenji Uchida, the president of the Sunrise anime studio, told attendees of a Tokyo International Anime Fair (TAF) 2009 symposium that actor Keanu Reevesenthusiasm for its Cowboy Bebop anime was the deciding factor in the recent live-action film deal. Uchida said Reeves (The Matrix, A Scanner Darkly, Johnny Mnemonic) himself visited Japan twice to express his interest in adapting the stylized science-fiction anime, and added that if Reeves had not done so, the deal might not have been made. Uchida further noted that the difficult negotiations with the 20th Century Fox film studio continued for two years until agreeable contract terms were drafted. He emphasized that the contract allows Sunrise to assert quality control by stating, “If the script is terrible, the live-action film adaptation will not be approved.”

Uchida spoke at a Thursday symposium titled “Basquash! to Cowboy Bebop ni Miru Kaigai Collabo Business Model” (“The Collaborative Overseas Business Model, as Shown by Basquash! and Cowboy Bebop“). At the panel, Satelight executive director and anime creator Shoji Kawamori (Macross, Escaflowne, Aquarion) and French animation creator Thomas Romain (Oban Star-Racers, Aria the Natural) discussed how they collaborated on next month’s Basquash! robot sports action anime series. In describing the project’s genesis, Kawamori said that he felt there are limits and clichés in the weapon-based action genre. Romain co-developed this unorthodox project about street basketball — as played by players in giant robotic mecha — with a team of both Japanese and French animators.
