{December 19, 2009}   Updates.!

Hi.! It’s been a long time since I’ve updated this blog. I miss blogging.. T_T

Anyway, other than latest Anime and Manga news, I have just updated the Online Manga and Anime page. There are new links and updates for the old ones. If you also know some sites, please share it with me. ^_^

Another thing. i found this blog (thanks to a certain member) about Dom Dom Soft Manga Downloader..

OneManga, MangaFox, and MangaHut are very good websites to read manga online. But they don’t have a download section.
DomDomSoft Manga Downloader is a software that helps you download manga directly off these sites.

Features:

- Don’t need to install, just click and run!
- Easy to use.
- Absolutely free!Actually, there’s a free version and a $5 licensed version available currently. Only difference is genre filtering.

System Requirement:

- Windows OS.
- .Net Framework.

This is beneficial to those who love reading online.. ^_^

{December 19, 2009}   Shiki to have an Anime

Quoted from ANN:

The official website for the anime adaptation of Fuyumi Ono and Ryu Fujisaki’s Shiki horror mystery manga has opened — thus revealing that the anime has been green-lit. The story revolves around an isolated mountain village, steeped in ancient traditions, whose population of 1,300 starts dying in droves due to mysterious causes. Eventually, it becomes clear that vampires are attacking the town.

Ono had previously written the original novels for The Twelve Kingdoms and Ghost Hunt, while Fujisaki is best known for drawing the Hoshin Engi and Soul Hunter manga. Ono began writing the original Shiki novels in 1998, and Fujisaki began adapting the story in Shueisha’s Jump Square manga magazine in December of 2008. The Shiki website links to the anime production company Aniplex.

I’ve seen some pictures of it and it looks creepy. I’ll be waiting for this since the writers have done good projects in the past.

Quoted from ANN:

The publisher DeAgostini has announced on Thursday that it will re-launch the Evangelion Chronicle magazine on January 19. The official magazine will cover the different aspects of Gainax and Khara’s science-fiction anime franchise in 40 weekly issues.Like the previous incarnation of the magazine, each new issue’s 32 all-color pages will be split into different sections: mechanic, character, timeline, tactics, installation (a guide to locales), technology, and extra. The first issue will ship with an exclusive binder, and two more binders will be sold as a set. (The fourth and final binder will be bundled with the 31st issue.) People who collect all 40 issues can mail away for an original Rei Ayanami figure. Two illustrated clear file folders will also be offered on the official website.

Evangelion Chronicle was previously published by another publisher, Sony Magazines. DeAgostini is publishing or will publish the Weekly Space Battleship Yamato Official Fact File, the Weekly Kamen Rider Official Data File, the Biweekly Science Ninja Team Gatchaman DVD Collection, and the Biweekly World Masterpiece Theater DVD Selection.

This is a good news for all the eva fans out there.. ^_^

Quoted from ANN:

Next year’s combined 3rd/4th issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is confirming on Monday that production on a fourth Bleach film has been green-lit. The spinoff from Tite Kubo’s Bleach supernatural manga will open in the winter of 2010. The third film, Bleach: Fade to Black – Kimi no Na o Yobu, opened in Japan in December of 2008. Viz Media released the first two Bleach films in North America, and Adult Swim ran the second film on American television on December 5.

The official website of the Japanese movie distributor TOHO is also confirming that the fourth Naruto Shippūden ninja film is scheduled for summer of 2010. Junko Takeuchi, the Japanese voice of the title character, will head the cast.

waaah..new bleach movie? I really need to watch Fade to Black now before the new one will be shown.

Quoted from ANN:

The official Japanese website for the Haruhi Suzumiya anime franchise began streaming a one-minute promotional video for The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya film on Friday, December 18. (The site “disappears” and deliberately posts a false “The page cannot be found” message in Japanese before the video is streamed.)

The film will open in Japan on February 6.

The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya is the title of the fourth volume in Nagaru Tanigawa and Noizi Ito’s original Haruhi Suzumiya light novel series about an eccentric, assertive girl who creates her own school club for her strange antics. The main story in this volume has yet to be animated. The first indications of animation plans for this light novel volume came in December 18, 2007, when the anime’s official website “disappeared” with a cryptic announcement of a new Haruhi Suzumiya project; December 18 is a reference to the pivotal date in the fourth volume. That 2007 announcement was also the first public indication that Yutaka Yamamoto (director of first and 12th Haruhi Suzumiya episodes, Lucky Star, Kannagi) was not going to direct the production of new Haruhi Suzumiya animation.

I still haven’t finished watching the season 1 but I’m looking forward for this movie.. ^_^

Quoted from ANN:

The website of the Japanese film distributor TOHO has revealed that the Metal Fight Beyblade television anime series will spawn a theatrical film in the summer of 2010. Like the television series, the tentatively titled Metal Fight Beyblade film is based on the spinning-top game manga by Takafumi Adachi in Shogakukan’s Monthly Coro Coro Comic magazine. Aki Kanada, the voice of the television anime’s main character Ginga Hagane, will be in the film’s cast.

I didn’t know that there’s an anime like this. I only know the first one.. Anyway, I hope that all beyblade lovers will love this, too. ^_^

Bessatsu Margaret magazine have confirmed that Yoko Kamio (Hana Yori Dango mangaka) will release a new series on the March issue on February 13.

The story is still unknown, though.

{December 18, 2009}   Haruka 3 Updates

Quoted from ANN:

The game and anime producer KOEI announced last Thursday that the climactic Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 3: Owari Naki Unmei (Haruka -Beyond the Stream of Time- 3: The Endless Destiny) television anime will ship in three DVD editions on March 24 in Japan. The Standard Edition DVD will contain the historical fantasy anime’s “Dannoura” edition, which will extend the 60-minute television finale to 90 minutes. The Deluxe Edition DVD will add the Owari Naki Unmei preview special that will run this month, credit-less opening animation, anime footage shown at KOEI’s Neoromance events, an exclusive box with illustrated-label DVDs, and postcards with key images from the anime. The Limited Edition DVD will add “multiple love endings” featuring 10 different characters (the eight Hachiyō guardians, Hakuryū, and Tomomori Taira), a full-orchestra soundtrack, and a 16-page color booklet. (The Limited Edition also replaces the Deluxe Edition’s anime postcards with ones illustrated by character designer and manga creator Tooko Mizuno.)

The Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 3: Owari Naki Unmei television special is the final anime based on KOEI’s Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 3 game. Haruka -Beyond the Stream of Time- (Harukanaru Toki no Naka de) is the second franchise in KOEI’s popular Neoromance line of games for female gamers. (The other Neoromance franchises are Angelique and La Corda D’Oro.) The earlier games in the series inspired the 2002-2003 two-volume Harukanaru Toki no Naka de ~Ajisai Yumegatari~ video series and 2003-2005 three-volume Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 2 ~Shiroki Ryuu no Miko~ video series.

These anime titles led to the 2004-2005 Haruka: Beyond the Stream of Time – A Tale of the Eight Guardians (Harukanaru Toki no Naka de ~Hachiyou Shou~) television series, which Bandai Visual USA (now a label of Bandai Entertainment) licensed for North America. There was also a 2006 Harukanaru Toki no Naka de ~Maihitoyo~ movie and a 2007 Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 3: Kurenai no Tsuki television special. North America’s Viz Media publishes Mizuno’s Haruka -Beyond the Stream of Time- manga, which she ended in Japan this month. The 60-minute version of Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 3: Owari Naki Unmei will premiere on Japan’s AT-X satellite/cable channel on January 3.

The picture caught my eye the minute I saw this news. I’m not a big fan of Haruka but I’d like to watch this last installment. I hope that it won’t be too cheesy and boring and just have a good animation. ^^”

{December 6, 2009}   New Code Geass

Quoted from ANN:

Bandai’s mobile phone website m-pub.channel.or.jp is hosting a graphic that reads as follows:

New Code Geass
Project Launch Green-Lit!

Wait for more info in 2010!!

The image adds that this project represents a “rebirth” and that Geass will take a new step starting today. The message is signed with the name, “ZERO.”

Actually, I don’t know if I’ll be happy or not with this news. What will be the story of this new cg? The rebirth/resurrection of Lelouch? ^^” Or will it be the point of view of Nunnaly or Suzaku? Will it answer the mysteries about geass and the organization behind it?

{November 25, 2009}   Higashi no Eden 2 Postponed

Quoted from MAL:

According to the official website, Production I.G announced that they postponed the premiere of Higashi no Eden – Movie II: Paradise Lost until March, 2010. It was originally scheduled to be shown on January 9th, 2010.

Production I.G was first planning to produce two 60 minutes movies but the concept of the story expanded. As a result, the production was delayed.

Duration of the movies
Movie I: 82 min
Movie II: 90 min

Source: Production I.G

This is a good and a bad news. Bad because it will be delayed. Good because of longer running time. I hope someone will sub this faster. ^_^
